About us
Leather Surgery is a business founded by footwear stylist/designer J.J. Orellana, also known as ``Brisas``, in the 1940's.
History
From El Salvador to Guatemala
Brisas was born in the Central American country of El Salvador. He later emigrated to Guatemala where, together with his wife and four of his seven children created a footwear manufacturing emporium, known since then as "The Footware Barons".
Bobby Orellana
One of Brisas' sons, Roberto Orellana A.K.A "Bobby", emigrated in 1990 from Guatemala to Los Angeles U.S.A., city of Angels. Eventually he moved to the Big Apple, New York.
The legacy continues
Bobby is the one who proudly continues the legacy. He has worked for more than 33 years in the manufacturing of leather goods such as handbags, leather coats, shoes, leather seats and sport accessories like baseball gloves, golf bags, and much more. He is also a specialist in Zipper repairing and installation.
